Safe Families for Children Iowa City/Cedar Rapids is made up of dozens of volunteer families throughout the Corridor who have opened up their homes and lives to parents and children facing crisis. Through biblical hospitality, our volunteer families have come alongside dozens of parents throughout the Corridor who have opening their homes and hearts. Volunteers serve a variety of roles from hosting children for a temporary period of time to providing services such as transportation, parent mentoring, respite care, and supplying tangible items such as diapers, car seats, and meals.
